Sunday Morning Classes:
9th & 10th: The Freshman and Sophmore class engages in discussion about what we believe as Reformed Christians. We tackle a variety of topics from the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dordt and the Heidelberg Catechism. Our goal is to understand our foundational beliefs and to be able to articulate them to others. Our theme verse is from 1 Peter 3:15 which says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do so with gentleness and respect.”
7th & 8th: In Junior High, students dive into the Heidelberg Catechism over 2 years, learning about the gospel more deeply. The Heidelberg
catechism is a series of questions and answers that was written after the Reformation, to teach both young and old. The goal each week is to take an almost 500 year old document and make it understandable, relatable, and applicable to the life of a student in Junior High today. Our hope is that the Junior High student will come to a deeper knowledge and understanding of the gospel throughout their time in this class
